What was wrong with Freud was he wasn't egotistical enough. He thought we all wanted to murder our fathers and marry our mothers just because he did, when in reality we all wanted to murder Freud's father and marry Freud's mother.
Both of whom have been dead for ages. Thus, why everybody is so fucked up.
