I'm a trailing-edge baby-boomer in Act III of my life:
Act I, childhood and wasted youth, military brat with no fixed abode;
Act II, software engineer, specialty everything nobody cares about anymore, still periginacious but in the SF/SJ/Monterey axis, and a disastrous life-scarring 11-year marriage that I will tell you all about sometime;
and now, Act III, earning a third of what I was, but with time to make new friends and follow old dreams -- own a house now, and ramping up acting experiences. Will I turn pro? Will I be whisked off to Hollywood? Time will tell. ("No," Time will probably say, but no point rushing it).
